Your journey is both dynamic and inspiring. How did you transition from being a DJ and creative artist into wellness coaching and executive leadership?

My journey really began long before music and coaching. Growing up, I had firsthand exposure to the reality of mental health through my uncle, who was mentally disabled. Living closely with him gave me the foundation of a strong sense of empathy and purpose. Professionally, I started in the media and corporate strategy world, leading campaigns for some of the biggest brands. During that time, I studied life coaching and NLP, completing my certifications while still working full-time. I began coaching in the evenings and on weekends, and later discovered DJing as ‘learning a new skill’, a creative outlet and a energy practice. Eventually, I reached a point where I wanted to align my professional life with the things that lit me up most: wellness, music, and transformation. Today, I’m fortunate to combine these worlds running my business, DJing for events and brands, coaching, speaking, and creating workshops that bring strategy, wellness, and creativity together.

Wellness today is more than just fitness or diet. What does holistic wellness mean to you, and how do you personally live it?

Holistic wellness to me means living in balance across all seven dimensions of life: spiritual, mental, physical, professional, personal, financial, and emotional. This model , what I call the 7D Wellness Framework is something I introduced to my clients early on and is still a central focus of my work. I believe you can’t isolate one dimension and expect to thrive. For example, you may be physically fit but emotionally unsteady, or financially successful but spiritually disconnected. Wellness is about checking in across all seven areas and ensuring you’re aligned. Personally, I use what I call my “habit tracker” — a daily check-in that helps me stay accountable and aware of how I’m scoring in each of these dimensions.

As a business owner, how do you balance the high demands of leadership with your wellness lifestyle and coaching commitments?

Balance is everything. I’m learning that leadership isn’t about doing everything at once, it’s about creating intentional routines. In my calendar I ensure there is space for strategy, creativity, and rest because each fuels the other. Coaching keeps me grounded , music keeps me energized and expressive, and business keeps me focus and structured. It’s about allowing them to live together instead of seeing them as competing priorities. When I give each area its time and energy, I operate at my best without burn out.

Music and wellness may seem like very different worlds. How do you use music and sound as tools for healing, mindfulness, or motivation?

For me, music is medicine. I use sound as a form of energy activation - it can uplift, release, and energise us instantly. At events, I curate music that raises vibration, but in wellness spaces I also use sound more intentionally: through guided meditations, soundscapes, and movement practices. Music bypasses the logical mind and speaks directly to the body and soul, which is why I find it such a powerful tool for both healing and motivation.

You’ve worn many hats – DJ, coach, speaker, and executive. What common thread ties all these roles together in your personal mission?

The common thread is transformation. Whether I’m behind the decks, on a stage speaking, in a workshop, or building strategy for a business, my mission is always to help people live more freely, fully, and well. Music allows me to shift energy in the moment. Coaching gives me tools to guide people through change. Speaking spreads ideas at scale. Business leadership helps me build structures that bring impact. Each role fulfills the same mission : to empower people to unlock their best selves.

The wellness industry is evolving quickly. What emerging trends or practices excite you the most, and why?

I’m very excited about the growth of wellness tourism and experiential wellness. People are no longer just traveling for rest and relaxation; they’re seeking transformation, connection, and practices that they can integrate into their lives when they return home. I also love the movement towards merging wellness with creativity and culture - blending music, art, food, and nature into holistic experiences. It is a very exciting time for the Wellness industry and I’m here for it !!

Many people struggle with burnout and stress. What simple daily practices do you recommend for staying grounded in fast-paced environments?

I always recommend three non-negotiables:

  • Prayer & Meditation : grounding yourself spiritually and mentally at the start and end of each day.

  • Nutrition that works for your body : not quick fix diets, but listening to what fuels and nourishes your body best.

  • Movement : daily movement to release stagnant energy, circulate oxygen, and keep the body strong and supple.

  • These practices, which are so simple to maintain create balance across all the wellness dimensions.

As a speaker and public figure, what message do you most want to leave with audiences about the importance of wellness in business and personal life?

The message I want to leave is that success without wellness isn’t sustainable. In business and in life, your most important responsibility is to yourself ,to truly know yourself and care for yourself. When you tend to your seven dimensions, you create the clarity and vitality needed to lead a free and full life. My brand mantra for Deevine Life is Live Freely, Fully, and Well .. free in your mind, full in your soul, and well in your body. That’s the foundation for everything.

Women in leadership often face unique challenges. What advice would you give to young women aspiring to lead in both corporate and creative spaces?

My advice is simple but powerful: heal first. Leadership will always test you, but if you’ve done the work to heal your mind, body, and soul, you’ll lead from wholeness rather than from wounds.

Don’t just chase titles; cultivate self-awareness and self-mastery. Sit with yourself. Face yourself. Love yourself. When you do that, you’ll not only become a stronger leader, but you’ll also create safer, healthier, and more inspired environments for others.

Looking ahead, what legacy do you hope to create through your work in wellness, music, and leadership?

The legacy I wish to leave is that every person I connect with feels empowered to become their own coach and their own healer. Through my workshops like 'Be Your Own Coach' and my music, I want to show people they are limitless. In wellness, I want to normalize living through the seven dimensions.

In music, I want to keep curating sounds that raise energy and joy. And in leadership, I want to model a way of building businesses that are deeply aligned with values of freedom, wellness, and creativity. My legacy is a movement: for people everywhere to live freely in their minds, fully in their souls, and well in their bodies.
